From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

Dynamics of bright solitary matter-waves [PDF]
This thesis describes the formation of a 85Rb Bose-Einstein condensate and the subsequent creation of a bright solitary matter-wave in a quasi-one-dimensional optical waveguide, with experiments investigating the dynamics of a solitary wave in comparison

Validating the Comparison Framework for the Finite Dimensions Model of Concentric Ring Electrodes Using Human Electrocardiogram Data [PDF]
[EN] While progress has been made in design optimization of concentric ring electrodes maximizing the accuracy of the surface Laplacian estimation, it was based exclusively on the negligible dimensions model of the electrode.

DESCRIPTION OF 2-LOCAL DERIVATIONS ON AN ALGEBRA OF MATRICES
The present paper is devoted to 2-local derivation on associative and Jordan matrix rings. 2-local derivation is defined as follows: given a ring , a map (not additive in general) is called 2-local derivation if for every , there exists a derivation

Electrified Damage in Motion Systems
The electrified damage in motion systems is a fundamental framework presenting the degradation pathway arising from the coupling of electrical energy transport with mechanical contact and interfacial chemistry. The framework positions electrified damage as a distinct degradation regime with unique characteristic surface morphologies and failures of ...

Eddy growth and mixing in mesoscale oceanographic flows
We study the relation between changes in the Eulerian topology of a two dimensional flow and the mixing of fluid particles between qualitatively different regions of the flow. In general time dependent flows, streamlines and particle paths are unrelated.

Experiments and thermophysical simulations were conducted to investigate the electron beam powder bed fusion electron beam (PBF‐EB/M) process for the γ′‐strengthened nickel‐based superalloy Inconel 738LC. The results demonstrate the impact of process‐induced microstructural variations on high‐temperature mechanical behavior, providing a basis for ...
