RNA Sequencing Resolves Cryptic Pathogenic Variants in Mitochondrial Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Mitochondrial diseases are the most common inherited metabolic disorders, characterized by pronounced clinical and genetic heterogeneity that complicates molecular diagnosis. Although DNA‐based sequencing approaches have become standard in genetic testing, up to half of patients remain without a definitive diagnosis.

AbstractThis article presents an analysis of the structure and use of the Finnish independent infinitives. Although typological studies have shown that syntactically independent non-finite constructions are widespread in many languages, the understanding of their semantic and intersubjective motivation is still in its early stages.

Index of Differential-Difference Operators on an Infinite Cylinder
Russian Journal of Mathematical Physics, 2022This well-written, well-organized and well-illustrated paper provides a valuable contribution to the study of the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer (APS) rho invariant on the circle. The author provides an index theorem which equates the analytic and topological index maps for differential-difference operators on an infinite cylinder (Theorem 1). Here, the analytic

Groups with finitely many normalizers of infinite index.
2007The authors study groups in which only finitely many normalizers of (infinite) subgroups have infinite index. The main results are the following theorems. Theorem A. Let \(G\) be a group in which all but finitely many normalizers of Abelian subgroups have finite index. Then the factor group \(G/Z(G)\) is finite. Theorem B. Let \(G\) be a locally finite
