Tailored Hierarchical Porous Copper Architectures via Three Dimensional Printing and Pressure‐less Sintering for Next‐Generation Lithium‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Infinitesimal Transformations of Locally Conformal Kähler Manifolds

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The article is devoted to infinitesimal transformations. We have obtained that LCK-manifolds do not admit nontrivial infinitesimal projective transformations. Then we study infinitesimal conformal transformations of LCK-manifolds.

Sol–Gel Derived Polymer Precursors for Stereolithography of ZrC

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
ZrC is a critical material target for extreme temperature conditions. This report describes a protocol for preparing ZrC ceramics via stereolithography and examines the impact of the polymer matrix on carbothermal reduction and mechanical stability of 3D printed ZrC.

Thermophysical Properties of the Desulphurization Slags With Various CaS and CaO/Al2O3 Ratio

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article investigates how CaS content and the CaO/Al2O3 ratio influence the thermophysical properties of desulphurization slags. Using experimental measurements and thermodynamic simulations, this study reveals complex effects on viscosity, surface tension, and density, providing new insight into slag structure and phase behavior under ...

T-duality on nilmanifolds

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We study generalized complex structures and T-duality (in the sense of Bouwknegt, Evslin, Hannabuss and Mathai) on Lie algebras and construct the corresponding Cavalcanti and Gualtieri map. Such a construction is called Infinitesimal T -duality.

Removing Oxide Layers and Retaining Oxide‐Free Steel Surfaces by Polishing in Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the efficacy of wet mechanical polishing under an oxygen‐free atmosphere for deoxidation and the retention of an oxide‐free steel surface are elucidated using X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The methodology proved successful; however, the results were highly dependent on the preparation of the solvents used to clean the samples after ...

Pyramidal Structures on Yttria‐Stabilized Zirconia after High Temperature Exposure at 1500°C: New Features on an Old Material

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
New features on yttria‐stabilized zirconia after exposure at 1500°C: Newly discovered pyramidal structures on an old material. After exposure at 1550°C on the cross section of YSZ new features, namely pyramidal structures are discovered. These structures grow with time, increase in numbers, appear as singularities, are often arranged in strings, and ...

On infinitesimal transformations of Weil bundles as solutions of differential equation for Lie derivative of complete lift connection

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений. Поволжский регион: Физико-математические науки
Background. The study of infinitesimal affine transformation of bundles over Weil algebra is one of the important problems in the theory of these bundles.

Os primórdios do cálculo infinitesimal

open access: yesCQD Revista Eletrônica Paulista de Matemática, 2022
O Calculo Infinitesimal principiou a surgir por volta do século XV II, como resultado do trabalho de vários matemáticos, como por exemplo Fermat (1601 − 1665 d.C.), Barrow (1630 − 1677 d.C.), Newton (1643 − 1727 d.C.), Leibniz (1646 − 1716 d.C.).
