Pauli Matrices and the Theory of Representations of the Group of Rotations [PDF]

open access: yes
It is shown that Pauli Matrixes can be derived from irreducible rotation group representations of the weight =1/2, which in turn based on the system of infinitesimal (elementary) spatial rotations.

Finite field-dependent symmetries in perturbative quantum gravity

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper we discuss the absolutely anticommuting nilpotent symmetries for perturbative quantum gravity in general curved spacetime in linear and non-linear gauges.

Microenvironmental Reprogramming by 3D Anisotropic Cardiac Extracellular Matrix Induces Nuclear Remodeling and Epigenetic Maturation of Chemically Induced Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

On the isospectral beams

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2005
The free undamped infinitesimal transverse vibrations of a thin straight beam are modelled by a forth-order differential equation. This paper investigates the families of fourth-order systems which have one spectrum in common, and correspond to four ...

Combining Symmetries and Helmholtz’s Conditions to Construct Lagrangians

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics
We present new relations derived from Noether’s identity that reveal the compatibility between the components of the Hessian matrix of the Lagrangian, the infinitesimal symmetry transformation of the configuration variables and time, and a constant of ...

Certain results for η-Ricci Solitons and Yamabe Solitons on quasi-Sasakian 3-Manifolds

open access: yesCubo, 2019
We classify quasi-Sasakian 3-manifold with proper η-Ricci soliton and investigate its geometrical properties. Certain results of Yamabe soliton on such manifold are also presented.

Photon Avalanching Nanoparticles: The Next Generation of Upconverting Nanomaterials?

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective outlines the mechanistic foundations that enable photon‐avalanche (PA) behavior in lanthanide nanomaterials and contrasts them with emerging application spaces and forward‐looking design strategies. By bridging threshold engineering, energy‐transfer dynamics, and materials engineering, we provide a coherent roadmap for advancing the ...

Dispensing Volumetric Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Dispensing volumetric additive manufacturing (DVAM) prints 3D structures inside a photocurable resin droplet suspended from the tip of a glass pipette, enabling sequential printing without resin vats or manual part removal. Real‐time droplet profiling and ray‐tracing‐based correction compensate for optical distortion at the curved resin‐air interface ...

Changes of Variables and the Renormalization Group [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A class of exact infinitesimal renormalization group transformations is proposed and studied. These transformations are pure changes of variables (i.e., no integration or elimination of some degrees of freedom is required) such that a saddle point ...

Strategies for Loading and Releasing Peptide Therapeutics in Biodegradable Carriers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A biodegradable carrier‐based peptide delivery system is a powerful treatment platform for diverse diseases, owing to its superior therapeutic efficacy and low toxicity. This review examines the conventional peptide‐loaded carrier fabrication process and its current limitations.
