Validity of a Wearable Digital Insole for Assessing Gait ON and OFF in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Gait impairment is a distinctive symptom of Parkinson's disease that negatively impact mobility. We assessed the validity of wearable digital insoles against a validated reference gait analysis system for measuring select gait characteristics in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A comparative analysis between digital insoles

SISO Output Affine Feedback Transformation Group and Its Faa di Bruno Hopf Algebra
The general goal of this paper is to identify a transformation group that can be used to describe a class of feedback interconnections involving subsystems which are modeled solely in terms of Chen-Fliess functional expansions or Fliess operators and are

A Systematic Comparison of Alpha‐Synuclein Seed Amplification Assays for Increasing Reproducibility
ABSTRACT Seed amplification assays (SAAs) enable ultrasensitive detection of misfolded α‐synuclein across biofluids and tissues. Yet, heterogeneity in protocols limits cross‐study comparability and clinical translation. Here, we review α‐synuclein SAA methods and their performance across various biological matrices.

Characteristics of Sasakian Manifolds Admitting Almost ∗-Ricci Solitons
This article presents some results of a geometric classification of Sasakian manifolds (SM) that admit an almost ∗-Ricci soliton (RS) structure (g,ω,X). First, we show that a complete SM equipped with an almost ∗-RS with ω≠ const is a unit sphere.

Point and Lie Bäcklund symmetries of certain partial differential equations : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of MA in Mathematics at Massey University [PDF]
The aim of this thesis is to: (1) Explore the use of differential forms in obtaining point and contact symmetries of particular partial differential equations (PDEs) and hence their corresponding similarity solutions. [1] and [4].

0) and infinitesimal transformations [PDF]
The differential and variational calculus on the SLq(2, R) group is constructed. The spontaneous breaking symmetry in the WZNW model with SLq(2, R) quantum group symmetry and in the σ-models with SLq(2, R)/Uh(1), Cq(2|0) quantum group symmetry is considered. The Lagrangian formalism over the quantum group manifolds is discussed.

ABSTRACT Background X‐linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X‐ALD) is a neurometabolic disorder caused by pathogenic variants in ABCD1, leading to slowly progressive spinal cord disease in nearly all affected men. Sensitive biomarkers to quantify disease severity and predict progression are needed for clinical care and trial design.

Special Recurrent Transformation in an NPR-Finsler Space
In this paper, an infinitesimal transformation , where the vector vi is recurrent has been considered in an NPR- Finsler space. Such transformation is being called special recurrent transformation if the recurrence vector of the NPR- Finsler space is Lie

Objective We examined whether 18 months of strength training in individuals with knee varus alignment and medial tibiofemoral osteoarthritis (OA) reduced knee joint loads during walking compared to an attention control group. Methods This study was a secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial that compared the effects of strength training to a ...

Applying recursive renormalization group transformations to a scalar field theory, we obtain an effective quantum gravity theory with an emergent extra dimension, described by a dual holographic Einstein-Klein-Gordon type action.
