Investigating Factors Affecting Inflation with Emphasis on the Role of Backward-Looking and Forward-Looking Expectations [PDF]

open access: yesپژوهشهای اقتصادی, 2015
Inflation is the main problem which should be overcome both by the government and economic agents. The existence of inflation in an economy causes distortion and disequilibrium in the macroeconomic variables in the forms of decreasing growth rate, rising

Functional Equation of the Rate of Inflation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2003
This short note aims to introduce a rule which admits to compute %any time rate of interest in any time per any time, rate of inflation per any time in any moment, if the rate of interest or the rate of inflation by unity of time is an arbitrary integrable function.

Radius Inflation at Low Rossby Number in the Hyades Cluster [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Radius inflation continues to be explored as a peculiar occurrence among magnetically active, low-mass stars. Recently Somers et. al. 2017 showed that radius inflation among low-mass stars in the young open cluster M45 (Pleiades Cluster) is correlated to the rotation rate: faster rotators are more inflated.

Artesunate Inhibits Neointimal Hyperplasia by Promoting IRF4 Associated Macrophage Polarization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that macrophage interferon regulatory factor 4 (IRF4) improved arterial injury‐induced neointimal hyperplasia by promoting of M2 polarization via up‐regulating krüppel‐like factor 4 (KLF4) in rodent and nonhuman primate models. Notably, artesunate is identified as a potent inducer of IRF4 in macrophages, and proposed as a promising ...

An Aerial–Aquatic Hitchhiking Robot with Remora‐Inspired Tactile Sensors and Thrust Vectoring Units

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView., 2023
An untethered aerial–aquatic hitchhiking robot that can be remotely controlled for flying, swimming, and transiting air–water boundaries rapidly (0.16 s), is presented. Notably, it can autonomously attach to various surfaces in both air and water environments using a remora‐inspired suction disc with flexible tactile sensors.
