UV Shadows in EFTs: Accidental Symmetries, Robustness and No‐Scale Supergravity

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 68, Issue 10, October 2020., 2020
Abstract We argue that accidental approximate scaling symmetries are robust predictions of weakly coupled string vacua, and show that their interplay with supersymmetry and other (generalised) internal symmetries underlies the ubiquitous appearance of no‐scale supergravities in low‐energy 4D EFTs.

Moduli inflation from modular flavor symmetries

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We study slow-roll inflation model controlled by the modular flavor symmetry. In the model, the modulus field plays a role of inflaton and the introduction of the stabilizer field coupled to a modular form in the superpotential produces the inflaton ...

Nonminimally coupled pseudoscalar inflaton [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2018
We consider a scenario in which the inflaton $ $ is a pseudoscalar field non-minimally coupled to gravity through a term of the form ${\cal X} R ^2$. The pseudoscalar is also coupled to a $U(1)$ gauge field (or an ensemble of ${\cal N}$ gauge fields) through an axial coupling of the form $ F \tilde{F}$. After M. M. Anber and L. Sorbo, Phys. Rev.

Supergravity Model of Inflation and Explaining IceCube HESE Data via PeV Dark Matter Decay

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
We construct a unified model of inflation and PeV dark matter with an appropriate choice of no‐scale Kähler potential, superpotential, and gauge kinetic function in terms of MSSM fields and hidden sector Polonyi field. The model is consistent with the CMB observations and can explain the PeV neutrino flux observed at IceCube HESE.

Gravitational-wave mediated preheating

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
We propose a new preheating mechanism through the coupling of the gravitational field to both the inflaton and matter fields, without direct inflaton–matter couplings.

Emergence of Warm Inflation in Curved Space‐Time between Accelerating Branes

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
It appears that having our own brane to somehow interact with other branes could give rise to quite an interesting system and that interaction could lead to some observable effects. We consider the question of whether or not these signatures of interaction between the branes can be observed. To answer this question, we investigate the effect induced by

WIMPs, FIMPs, and Inflaton phenomenology via reheating, CMB and ∆N eff

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
In this paper, we extensively analyzed the reheating dynamics after inflation and looked into its possible implication on dark matter (DM) and inflaton phenomenology.

Holography of a composite inflaton [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2010
We study the time evolution of a brane construction that is holographically dual to a strongly coupled gauge theory that dynamically breaks a global symmetry through the generation of an effective composite Higgs vev. The D3/D7 system with a background magnetic field or non-trivial gauge coupling (dilaton) profile displays the symmetry breaking.

Simple realization of inflaton potential on a Riemann surface

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2014
The observation of the B-mode in the cosmic microwave background radiation combined with the so-called Lyth bound suggests the trans-Planckian variation of the inflaton field during inflation.
