Inflow Tract Development

2016
The development of the inflow tract is undoubtedly one of the most complex remodeling events in the formation of the four-chambered heart. It involves the creation of two separate atrial chambers, the formation of an atrial/atrioventricular (AV) septal complex, the incorporation of the caval veins and coronary sinus into the right atrium, and the ...

Infiltration-Inflow Analysis

Journal of the Environmental Engineering Division, 1975
Presentation of recommended guidelines for establishment of a systematic survey to determine the nature and extent of infiltration and inflow into a sewer system and some important factors that must be considered in preparing an economic analysis for corrective action.

The inflow-effect: Trader inflow and bubble formation in asset markets [PDF]

open access: possible, 2014
We investigate the impact of trader and cash inflow on bubble formation in asset markets with a novel design featuring heterogeneous information and a constant fundamental value. Implementing seven treatments we find that (i) only the joint inflow of traders and cash triggers bubbles ("inflow-effect").

Inflows, density currents, and fronts

The Physics of Fluids, 1978
The inflow of a fluid of different density into an ambient fluid of uniform density and finite depth is studied numerically using the full Navier–Stokes and diffusion equations. The problem is posed as an initial-boundary-value problem. In both the overflow (lighter buoyant inflow) and underflow (heavier inflow) cases, a gravity current is established ...

Radial Inflow Turbine Study

1991
Abstract : Small radial inflow turbines have various applications in industry and are successfully being used as a major component of gas turbines and turbochargers. The performance of the turbine is of great importance for the success of these systems.

Arterial Inflow Stenosis

2016
Because inflow is important, it is good to know the surgical methods and challenges in the creation of the AVF both in general and for that particular patient. Although it is beyond the scope of this chapter, it is important to mention that during the creation of AVF, there may be stretching of the vessels which in itself can lead to subsequent ...

Inflow to Lake Titicaca

Journal of Geophysical Research, 1959
Lake Titicaca forms part of the great system of internal drainage of the Altiplano of Peru and Bolivia between the Cordillera Oriental and the Cordillera Occidental. The lake has an area of about 8300 sq km (3300 sq mi) and it is about 3800 meters (12,500 ft) above sea level. The adjacent ranges are about 2000 meters (6500 ft) higher.

Inflow Performance Relationship

2018
Whenever a well is drilled and completed, it is expected to flow naturally via the wellbore to the surface, a relationship known as inflow and outflow. The inflow performance relationship (IPR) is often required for estimating well capacity, designing well completion, designing tubing string, optimizing well production, performing nodal analysis ...

Arterial Inflow Techniques

2019
Restoring adequate arterial inflow to the donor liver is essential for graft function, the health of the biliary tree, and the long-term survival of the graft. Hepatic artery thrombosis (HAT) has a significant impact on the rate of postoperative morbidity, mortality, graft loss, and the need for retransplantation.
