Modeling of the static tool influence function of bonnet polishing based on FEA

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2014
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the model of the static tool influence function (sTIF) of bonnet polishing (BP). Three kinds of sTIF are mathematically modeled, which are static tool influence function of tilted polishing (sTIFt), static tool

On the topography influence on subsidence due to horizontal underground mining using the influence function method

open access: yesComputers and Geotechnics, 2014
International audienceThe classical influence function method is widely used in mining subsidence prediction, but its use is typically limited to predicting the subsidence associated with horizontal stratiform underground mining when the ground surface ...

Influence of Age on Neurotransmitter Function

Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinics of North America, 1987
Regulation by neurotransmitters of anterior pituitary hormone secretion is complex and a thorough understanding of their normal role in hormone secretion is a prerequisite to understanding their involvement in age-related changes in endocrine function.

THE INFLUENCE OF THE THYROID ON ADRENOCORTICAL FUNCTION*†

The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 1955
THE results of several clinical and experimental studies using radioactive iodine are in agreement that corticotropin and cortisone inhibit the production of thyroid hormone, although the mechanism of this inhibition is still in dispute (1, 2, 3).

Growth Influence on Tubal Function

Acta Oto-Laryngologica, 1979
The influence of growth on tubal function was studied in 26 children by means of tubal function tests in a pressure chamber and by geometric analysis of lateral cephalograms. Good tubal function coincided with mesoor brachycephalic skeletons, poor tubal function with dolichocephalic morphologic patterns.

INFLUENCE OF ESTROGEN ON THYROID FUNCTION*

The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 1954
THAT important relationships exist between thyroidal and gonadal function has long been suspected but, especially in man, these relationships have been only incompletely denned. Although attempts have been made to show that clinical or “subclinical” alterations in thyroid function cause menstrual or obstetric abnormalities, many studies have suffered ...
