Multi‐omics and low‐input proteomics profiling reveals dynamic regulation driving pluripotency initiation in early mouse embryos

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Factors Influencing Learning and Factors Influencing Persistence

Proceedings of the 2017 International Conference on Information System and Data Mining, 2017
Massive open online courses have opened up access to courses from many highly-regarded universities to learners of diverse backgrounds, such as students, in-service staffs, and senior citizens. This study examined the specific factors that spurred different learners to learn, and the instructional design factors that motivated learners to persist.

Factors Influencing Hospital Resilience

Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness, 2020
ABSTRACTThis study aims at investigating the influencing factors on hospital resilience. For this purpose, a systematic review of the literature was conducted. Six databases, including Web of Science, Scopus, SAGE, EBSCO, Google Scholar, and PubMed were searched for articles published between 2000 and 2018.

Factors influencing wound dehiscence

The American Journal of Surgery, 1992
Thirty-one abdominal fascial wound dehiscences occurred in 2,761 patients undergoing major abdominal surgery during a 5-year period (1%). Twenty-two specific local and systemic risk factors were analyzed and compared with the risk factors of a control group of 38 patients undergoing similar procedures without dehiscence.

Factors influencing collagen biosynthesis

Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, 2008
AbstractThe importance of collagen, the major structural protein of animal kingdom, in maintaining the normal structure and function of the skin is well known. The same property is exploited widely in medical and industrial fields in finding agents, which could influence the synthesis of this protein.

Factors Influencing Graft Clarity

Cornea, 1996
Successful penetrating keratoplasty depends on both host- and donor-related factors. We compared the results of keratoplasty in a group with a wide range of donor ages to gauge the effect of donor age on graft success. We conducted a retrospective review of donor data, recipient age, preoperative diagnosis, and postoperative complications with respect ...
