Order estimation for autoregressive models using criteria based on stochastic complexity
In this paper, we are interested in the order estimation of an autoregressive model using the information criterion developed by El Matouat and Hallin (1996), which is based on stochastic complexity.

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Outcomes for pediatric relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain dismal. CPX‐351, a liposomal formulation of cytarabine and daunorubicin, may have less off‐target toxicities than traditional chemotherapies and has shown improved outcomes for adults with newly diagnosed therapy‐related AML.

The Effects of Task, Task Mapping, and Layout Space on User Performance in Information-Rich Virtual Environments [PDF]
How should abstract information be displayed in Information-Rich Virtual Environments (IRVEs)? There are a variety of techniques available, and it is important to determine which techniques help foster a user’s understanding both within and between ...

Adaptive-Size Dictionary Learning Using Information Theoretic Criteria
Finding the size of the dictionary is an open issue in dictionary learning (DL). We propose an algorithm that adapts the size during the learning process by using Information Theoretic Criteria (ITC) specialized to the DL problem.

ABSTRACT Background L‐asparaginase is a critical component in treatment protocols for pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Acute pancreatitis reactions can necessitate delays and, in some cases, discontinuation of L‐asparaginase, which compromises outcomes.

INFORMATION CRITERIA FOR IMPULSE RESPONSE FUNCTION MATCHING ESTIMATION OF DSGE MODELS [PDF]
We propose new information criteria for impulse response function matching estimators (IRFMEs). These estimators yield sampling distributions of the structural parameters of dynamic sto- chastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models by minimizing the ...

ABSTRACT Purpose Malignant rhabdoid tumor of the kidney (MRTK) is a rare, aggressive tumor seen in young children. The optimal timing of resection for locally advanced tumors is not well‐defined. The purpose of this study is to evaluate modern oncologic outcomes and the impact of surgical timing. Methods A multicenter retrospective review was performed

Selection of weak VARMA models by Akaïke's information criteria [PDF]
This article considers the problem of orders selections of vector autoregressive moving-average (VARMA) models and the sub-class of vector autoregressive (VAR) models under the assumption that the errors are uncorrelated but not necessarily independent ...

Soil environmental quality and risk assessment under combined organic pollution in a typical sewage irrigated area [PDF]
Due to the shortage of freshwater and the depletion of groundwater, reuse of wastewater for crop irrigation has become essential, although many pollutants, such as antibiotics, are also introduced into the soil-groundwater system.
