Large Scale Model for Information Dissemination with Device to Device Communication using Call Details Records [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2013
In a network of devices in close proximity such as Device to Device ($D2D$) communication, we study the dissemination of public safety information at country scale level. In order to provide a realistic model for the information dissemination, we extract a spatial distribution of the population of Ivory Coast from census data and determine migration ...

Knockout of the mitoribosome rescue factors Ict1 or Mtrfr is viable in zebrafish but not mice: compensatory mechanisms underlying each factor's loss

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mitochondria contain two mitoribosome rescue factors, ICT1 and MTRFR (C12orf65). ICT1 also functions as a mitoribosomal protein in mice and humans, and its loss is lethal. Although Mtrfr knockout mice could not be generated, knockout zebrafish lines for ict1 and mtrfr were established.

Temporal Graph Kernels for Classifying Dissemination Processes [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Many real-world graphs or networks are temporal, e.g., in a social network persons only interact at specific points in time. This information directs dissemination processes on the network, such as the spread of rumors, fake news, or diseases. However, the current state-of-the-art methods for supervised graph classification are designed mainly for ...
