Nonclassicality and information exchange in deterministic entanglement formation [PDF]

open access: green, 2003
We discuss the role of nonclassicality of quantum states as a necessary resource in deterministic generation of multipartite entangled states. In particular for three bilinearly coupled modes of the electromagnetic field, tuning of the coupling constants

Network coding for undirected information exchange [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We consider the information exchange problem where each in a set of terminals transmits information to all other terminals in the set, over an undirected network.

Patterns for service-oriented information exchange requirements [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Service-Oriented Computing (SOC) is an emerging computing paradigm that supports loosely-coupled inter-enterprise interactions. SOC interactions are predominantly specified in a procedural manner that defines message sequences intermixing implementation ...

Information Exchange Limits in Cooperative MIMO Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Concurrent presence of inter-cell and intra-cell interferences constitutes a major impediment to reliable downlink transmission in multi-cell multiuser networks.

Equilibration through local information exchange in networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We study the equilibrium states of energy functions involving a large set of real variables, defined on the links of sparsely connected networks, and interacting at the network nodes, using the cavity and replica methods.

Brain magnetic resonance imaging predictors in anti‐N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate receptor encephalitis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, Volume 9, Issue 12, Page 1974-1984, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Objective Brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in anti‐N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis are nonspecific and rarely have obvious associations with clinical characteristics and outcomes. This study aimed to comprehensively describe the MRI features of patients with NMDAR encephalitis, examine their associations with ...

Investigation of the Uniformity of Gel Shrinkage by Imaging Tracer Particles Using X‐Ray Microtomography

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView., 2023
A novel method for tracking structural changes in gels using widely accessible microcomputed tomography is presented and validated for various hydro‐, alco‐, and aerogels. The core idea of the method is to track positions of micrometer‐sized tracer particles entrapped in the gel and relate them to the density of the gel network.

Entropy exchange, coherent information and concurrence

open access: yes, 2007
For a simple model we derive analytic expressions of entropy exchange and coherent information, from which relations between them and the concurrence are drawn. We find that in the quantum evolution the entropy exchange exhibits behavior \textsl{opposite}

Insights into the renal pathophysiology in Hermansky‐Pudlak syndrome‐1 from urinary extracellular vesicle proteomics and a new mouse model

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Hermansky‐Pudlak syndrome type 1 (HPS‐1) is a rare, autosomal recessive disorder with poorly understood renal involvement. Urinary extracellular vesicle (uEV) proteomics and a novel Hps1 mouse model reveal mitochondrial abnormalities and lipid accumulation in HPS‐1 kidney proximal tubule cells. Serum ApoA1 correlates with kidney function in our patient
