The geometry of some moduli schemes arising in enumerative geometry [PDF]
In this thesis, we work on the explicit geometric description of certain moduli schemes. Pandharipande-Thomas (PT) stable pairs provide an example of moduli spaces of objects in the derived category, whose scheme-theoretic geometry can be explored to a ...

Clustering Financial Return Distributions Using the Fisher Information Metric
Information geometry provides a correspondence between differential geometry and statistics through the Fisher information matrix. In particular, given two models from the same parametric family of distributions, one can define the distance between these

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.

The holographic fibration H = M 4 ×σ F, where F = (0, 1] carries the Fisher–Rao metric of information geometry, is taken as the fundamental geometric structure. Four axioms (informational content, holographic saturation, factorisation, and smoothness) fix the conformal factor σ(x) and the Hertault angle θH = arccosp2/3 as functions of d = 3 alone.

Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...
