Characterization of an Injectable Poly(vinyl alcohol)‐gelatin Hydrogel for Growth Factor Delivery in an Orthopedic Application

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces photo‐crosslinkable tyraminated poly(vinyl alcohol)‐gelatin (PVA‐GT) hydrogels as tunable injectable platforms for tissue engineering and growth factor delivery applications. This schematic illustrates the two developed hydrogel formulations and the experimental workflow used to evaluate their physico‐chemical properties in vitro ...

Incomplete neighbourhood multi-granulation decision-theoretic rough set in the hybrid-valued decision system

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
It is an important subject to mine valuable knowledge from complex and massive data in the era of big data. Rough set theory is a new mathematical tool for dealing with uncertain and inaccurate data, decision-theoretic rough set model (DTRS), as an ...

The Effects of Edible Coatings on the Postharvest Quality of Citrus Fruits as Affected by Granulation

open access: yesJournal of Food Quality, 2020
The world population is growing day-by-day, while the available natural resources for agricultural production, i.e., soil and water, are rapidly decreasing.

Rapid Nondestructive Detection of Water Content and Granulation in Postharvest “Shatian” Pomelo Using Visible/Near-Infrared Spectroscopy

open access: yesBiosensors, 2020
Visible/near-infrared (VIS/NIR) spectroscopy is a powerful tool for rapid, nondestructive fruit quality detection. This technology has been widely applied for quality detection of small, thin-peeled fruit, though less so for large, thick-peeled fruit due

Some Indexes for Comparing and Selecting Partitions [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2011
Based on the equivalence relation, we can partition a set U, formally, different equivalence relations correspond to different partitions of U. In this paper, based on Yager's work, we discuss how to compare the different partitions, moreover, we obtain ...

Multialgebraic Systems in Information Granulation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In different fields a conception of granules is applied both as a group of elements defined by internal properties and as something inseparable whole reflecting external properties.

A Data Driven Review of In Vitro Electrical and Mechanical Stimulation for Post‐Acute Phase Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines how in vitro electrical and mechanical stimulation modulates wound healing in fibroblasts and keratinocytes. Analyzing over 560 experimental data points, we relate stimulation parameters to proliferation and migration outcomes, evaluate platform designs, and highlight the need for multi‐parameter optimization to advance targeted ...

Seta‐Inspired Mechano‐Intelligent Janus Bandage with Coordinated Adhesion–Contraction for Minimizing Scarring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We developed a bioinspired mechano‐intelligent Janus bandage (MIB) with a hydrophobic flat exterior and a hydrophilic interior featuring gecko‐mimicking wedged microstructures, fabricated via micromolding and anisotropic plasma treatment. The MIB dynamically synchronizes adhesion and contraction, enabling precise force modulation.
