Data-driven universal insights into tumorigenesis via hallmark networks
Cancers are complex diseases characterized by dynamic perturbations of regulatory networks across multiple hierarchical levels, which cannot be fully captured by alterations in a small number of genes.

Operator calculus for information field theory [PDF]
Signal inference problems with non-Gaussian posteriors can be hard to tackle. Through using the concept of Gibbs free energy these posteriors are rephrased as Gaussian posteriors for the price of computing various expectation values with respect to a Gaussian distribution.

Computational capacity of the universe
Merely by existing, all physical systems register information. And by evolving dynamically in time, they transform and process that information. The laws of physics determine the amount of information that a physical system can register (number of bits ...

Optimally Conclusive Discrimination of Non-orthogonal Entangled States Locally [PDF]
We consider one copy of a quantum system prepared with equal prior probability in one of two non-orthogonal entangled states of multipartite distributed among separated parties.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Information Management: A Consolidation of Operations, Analysis and Strategy [PDF]
The book provides an exposition on the discipline of information management. It is organised into four parts. The first of these deals with factors that shape the meaning of information management - the professional associations that have formed; the ...

Simple unconventional geometric scenario of one-way quantum computation with superconducting qubits inside a cavity [PDF]
We propose a simple unconventional geometric scenario to achieve a kind of nontrivial multi-qubit operations with superconducting charge qubits placed in a microwave cavity. The proposed quantum operations are insensitive not only to the thermal state of

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

«Arktisk blokade»: en russisk informasjonsoperasjon mot Norge
Russlands invasjon av Ukraina bryter med et grunnleggende prinsipp i den europeiske sikkerhetsarkitekturen: respekten for territorielle grenser. I denne casestudien ser vi på en hendelse hvor Russland i 2022 utfordret Norges grenser gjennom kampanjer i ...

Discrimination of two-qubit unitaries via local operations and classical communication
Distinguishability is a fundamental and operational task generally connected to information applications. In quantum information theory, from the postulates of quantum mechanics it often has an intrinsic limitation, which then dictates and also ...
