Magnetically “Programming” Cobalt‐Doped Iron Oxide Nanoparticles for Localized Induction Heating: Triggering a Collective Effect of Magnetic Moment Alignment on Demand

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates enhanced induction heating in cobalt‐doped iron oxide nanoparticles via specific pre‐magnetization, induced by the pre‐alignment of magnetic moments. By correlating Co content with magnetic properties, the research highlights how magnetic pre‐programming enables localized, on‐demand debonding in composites.

Increasing the Stability of Deep Blue Phosphor‐Sensitized OLEDs Using the Polariton‐Enhanced Purcell Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The polariton‐enhanced Purcell (PEP) effect is demonstrated to enhance the stability of the deep blue phosphor‐sensitized fluorescent (PSF) OLEDs by 3.1 X compared to PSF diodes lacking this effect. In addition, PSF‐OLEDs exhibit reduced EQE roll‐off and deep blue color emission.

Fibrous Pressure Sensor with Unique Resistance Increase under Partial Compression: Coaxial Wet‐Spun TiO2/Graphene/Thermoplastic Polyurethane Multi‐Wall Multifunctional Fiber

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
TGTMW fibers are designed to show a sharp resistance increase under pressure, as the multi‐wall structure in the transition region between compressed and uncompressed areas bends and forms microcracks. This design breaks the physical sensitivity limit of conventional fiber‐shaped pressure sensors, which usually show resistance reduction under pressure ...
