Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Vascular endothelial‐cadherin as a marker of endothelial injury in preclinical Alzheimer disease
Abstract Objective Endothelial dysfunction is an early and prevalent pathology in Alzheimer disease (AD). We here investigate the value of vascular endothelial‐cadherin (VEC) as a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) marker of endothelial injury in preclinical AD.

Microglia act as tumor suppressors during brain metastasis colonization but shift to a tumor‐promoting role after melanoma brain metastases form. NF‐κB/RelA signaling emerges as a key driver of this phenotypic shift. Targeting this pathway reprograms microglia into a pro‐inflammatory state, enhancing antitumor immunity and immune checkpoint inhibitor ...

B‐cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B‐CLL) and monoclonal B‐cell lymphocytosis (MBL) show altered proteomes and phosphoproteomes, analyzed using mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, and western blotting. Identifying 2970 proteins and 316 phosphoproteins, including 55 novel phosphopeptides, we reveal BCR and NF‐kβ/STAT3 signaling in disease ...

Monotonicity of skew information and its applications in quantum resource theory [PDF]
We give an alternative proof of skew information via operator algebra approach and show its strong monotonicity under particular quantum TPCP maps. We then formulate a family of new resource measure if the resource can be characterized by a resource destroying map and the free operation should be also modified.
