Autonomous Resource Management in Construction Companies Using Deep Reinforcement Learning Based on IoT [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
Resource allocation is one of the most critical issues in planning construction projects, due to its direct impact on cost, time, and quality. There are usually specific allocation methods for autonomous resource management according to the projects objectives.

Accurate Portraits of Scientific Resources and Knowledge Service Components [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
With the advent of the cloud computing era, the cost of creating, capturing and managing information has gradually decreased. The amount of data in the Internet is also showing explosive growth, and more and more scientific and technological resources are uploaded to the network. Different from news and social media data ubiquitous in the Internet, the

Operational interpretation of weight-based resource quantifiers in convex quantum resource theories of states [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. Lett. 125, 110401 (2020), 2019
We introduce the resource quantifier of weight of resource for convex quantum resource theories of states with arbitrary resources. We show that it captures the advantage that a resourceful state offers over all possible free states, in the operational task of exclusion of subchannels.

The tensor as an informational resource [PDF]

open access: yesPNAS Nexus
Abstract A tensor is a multidimensional array of numbers that can be used to store data, encode a computational relation, and represent quantum entanglement. In this sense, a tensor can be viewed as valuable resource whose transformation can lead to an understanding of structure in data, computational complexity, and quantum information.

Spillover and crossover effects of exposure to work‐related aggression and adversities: A dyadic diary study

open access: yesAggressive Behavior, Volume 49, Issue 1, Page 85-95, January 2023., 2023
Abstract The past two decades have produced extensive evidence on the manifold and severe outcomes for victims of aggression exposure in the workplace. However, due to the dominating individual‐centered approach, most findings miss a social network perspective.

Semi‐supervised classification of fundus images combined with CNN and GCN

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 23, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Purpose Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the most serious complications of diabetes, which is a kind of fundus lesion with specific changes. Early diagnosis of DR can effectively reduce the visual damage caused by DR. Due to the variety and different morphology of DR lesions, automatic classification of fundus images in mass screening can ...

Developing and evaluating multimedia information resources to improve engagement of children, adolescents, and their parents with trials (TRECA study): Study protocol for a series of linked randomised controlled trials

open access: yesTrials, 2017
BackgroundRandomised controlled trials are widely established as the best method for testing health interventions whilst minimising bias. However, recruitment and subsequent retention of children and adolescents in healthcare trials is challenging ...

Feasibility of radical cardiac‐sparing, treatment planning strategies for patients with locally advanced, non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 23, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Purpose A set of treatment planning strategies were designed and retrospectively implemented for locally advanced, non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients in order to minimize cardiac dose without compromising target coverage goals. Methods Retrospective analysis was performed for 20 NSCLC patients prescribed to 60–66 Gy that received a ...

Efficient Resource Matching in Heterogeneous Grid Using Resource Vector [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology 2.3 (2010) 1-10, 2010
In this paper, a method for efficient scheduling to obtain optimum job throughput in a distributed campus grid environment is presented; Traditional job schedulers determine job scheduling using user and job resource attributes. User attributes are related to current usage, historical usage, user priority and project access.
