Highly Stable All‐Sputtered Solid‐State Electrochromic Devices with Co‐Sputtered LiTaO3 Electrolyte Films for Smart Windows

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An electrochromic device (ECD) based on a LiTaO3 (LTO) solid electrolyte is developed with a magenetron sputtering system. The LTO solid electrolyte‐based ECD demonstrates outstanding long‐term stability (less than 12% degradation after 3000 cycles) and fast response times (coloring: 4.13 s, bleaching: 6.14 s).

Event‐Driven Elongation Monitor for Soft Devices Using a Deformation‐Activated Piezoconductive Switch

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A stretchable, event‐driven strain sensor with low energy consumption is developed using positive piezoconductive composites. These composites remain insulative when relaxed, while they become conductive when stretched. Their electrical characteristics are modifiable by the nickel's weight ratio and cross‐sectional geometry. Strain‐induced switching is

Magnetic Steganography Based on Wide‐Field Diamond Quantum Microscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This document illustrates magnetic steganography. Magnetic graphics, including pixel art and QR codes, are produced using magnetic materials (such as Ni) and obscure behind patterns manufactured using non‐magnetic materials (such as Au), which are unveiled through widefield quantum microscopy. Furthermore, manipulating the electron spin of NV with dual

Low‐Strain Flexible Ink‐Based Sensors Enable Hyperelastic Inflation Perception Via Geometric Patterning for Balloon‐Type Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Integrating proprioceptive capabilities in balloon‐type robots enhances safe human–machine interactions. Traditional pressure estimates are inadequate due to nonlinear relationships. Instead, embedding stretchable sensors effectively measures deformation. This design optimizes sensor geometry to minimize damage risks.

In‐Hand Singulation, Scooping, and Cable Untangling with a 5‐Dof Tactile‐Reactive Gripper

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article presents a two‐fingered gripper with five degrees of freedom and a vision‐based tactile sensor for dexterous in‐hand manipulation. It performs complex tasks such as object singulation within granular media, scooping and precise card insertion, and cable untangling.
