Simulate analysis of buck converter’s near-end and far-end feedback and its application

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong, 2018
The voltage detection used in buck converters has two modes: near-end and far-end feedback. With the improving requirement of compensation accuracy, the selection of compensation method can’t meet the requirements which is traditionally chosen based on ...

Optical information storage [PDF]

open access: yes, 1984
An optical disc including a medium having both a continuous phase and a non-continuous phase yields excellent contrast and stability for optical recording purposes.

On the reversible extraction of classical information from a quantum source

open access: yes, 2001
Consider a source E of pure quantum states with von Neumann entropy S. By the quantum source coding theorem, arbitrarily long strings of signals may be encoded asymptotically into S qubits/signal (the Schumacher limit) in such a way that entire strings ...

Advancing Metal-Phenolic Networks for Visual Information Storage.

open access: yesACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, 2019
We report a facile inking strategy for visual information storage (e.g., writing, printing and beyond), via surface modification of substrates with polyphenols and subsequent in-situ formation of metal-phenolic networks (MPNs) on the substrates.

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Recent advances on information transmission and storage assisted by noise

open access: yes, 2013
The interplay between nonlinear dynamic systems and noise has proved to be of great relevance in several application areas. In this presentation, we focus on the areas of information transmission and storage.

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Thermal reduction of the threshold current density for current-induced domain wall motion in Tb-Co magnetic alloy wire

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
We investigated the current-induced domain wall motion (CIDWM) in Pt (3 nm)/Tb0.34Co0.66 (6 nm) alloy wire at various temperatures (T). The threshold current density (Jth) for the CIDWM in the Tb-Co alloy wire was 0.85 × 1011 A/m2 at room temperature ...

A framework for the local information dynamics of distributed computation in complex systems

open access: yes, 2013
The nature of distributed computation has often been described in terms of the component operations of universal computation: information storage, transfer and modification.
