CK2α Deficiency Drives Myocardial Fibrosis via Desmin‐Induced Mitochondrial Dysfunction
CK2α preserves mitochondrial homeostasis by phosphorylating Desmin to recruit Cryab, ensuring proper filament assembly. CK2α deficiency disrupts this interaction, causing mitochondrial dysfunction, metabolic shifts, bioenergetic failure, and oxidative stress—ultimately establishing a pro‐fibrotic environment that drives cardiac fibrosis.

A Catalytic Osmium Redox Couple Collapses Cancer Redox Balance
A stable Os(III)/Os(IV) redox couple is developed to disrupt the tumor cell redox balance by concurrently catalyzing ROS generation and GSH depletion. Osmium‐treated cells exhibit multiple cell death pathways, including apoptosis, ferroptosis, and immunogenic cell death.

Fluorescence Tuning of Carbon Dots from Red to Blue via UV‐Induced Photochemical Etching
A UV‐driven photochemical process enables continuous color evolution of carbon dots from red to blue using a single irradiation parameter. Progressive photoetching restructures graphitic domains and surface states, allowing full visible‐spectrum emission control.

Information storage and effective data retrieval in sparse matrices
Neural Networks, 1989Abstract A variation of a serial implementation of an associative memory network is considered. The memory is represented by a matrix-scheme with an extremely clipped Hebb-like synaptic rule. The analysis of the coding parameters shows that the proposed algorithm works faster than conventional approaches, provided that the patterns are extremely ...

An information storage and retrieval system for potato breeding data
American Potato Journal, 1980A full description of the development and use of an operational information storage and retrieval system for potato breeding data is presented. Formats of the various outputs are pictured and additional uses of the data bank discussed.

The definition of objectives and question of interpretation must be considered when setting up data banks. The objective will determine the type of data to be collected. A hierarchy of data-processing systems exists where the amount of interpretation in the data increases as the order of the system increases. The remarkable continuity of basic data can

In distributed environments, entities are distributed among different security domains and they do not have prior knowledge of one another. In this setting, distributed systems and their security components such as entities, certificates, credentials, policies and trust values are dynamic and constantly changing.

Data filtering applied to information storage and retrieval applications
Communications of the ACM, 1966Manipulation of data strings is the most complex processing function in information storage and retrieval applications. Data string manipulation is discussed within the context of an interpretive processing environment controlled by the use of procedural directives.

Storage and Retrieval of Data from Drug Information Requests Using a Mumps-Based Information System
Drug Information Journal, 1986The storage, retrieval, and dissemination of information constitutes a major function of any drug information service (DIS). We developed a computerized system for the storage and retrieval of data from drug information requests (DIR) using a MUMPS-based information system.
