Iron(III) ion reinforced P(NiPAAm‐co‐AA) beads as tunable smart organogels

Macroporous beads of PNiPAAm‐co‐AA copolymers were further crosslinked by iron(III) ions. The resulting beads are mechanically robust and reversibly responsive to a change of solvent from ethanol to ethyl acetate with half‐lives in the range of minutes.

Spatial observation‐error correlations for AMSU‐A in all‐sky assimilation: An ECMWF and UK Met Office intercomparison

Assimilation of AMSU‐A all‐sky observations can be increased up to fivefold if spatial observation‐error correlations are accounted for properly. Thermosensitive Nanostructured Coacervates Developed by Mixing ABA‐ and AB‐Block Copolymers and Their Unique Sustained Release of Nano‐Micelles in a Regulated Manner

Polyion complex micelles composed of blends of ABA and AB block copolymers can form coacervates with a hexagonally packed cylinder nanostructure after heating. The resulting coacervates can release the micelles under physiological conditions in a zero‐order kinetics, possessing cargo proteins.
