Fisher's zeros as boundary of renormalization group flows in complex coupling spaces
We propose new methods to extend the renormalization group transformation to complex coupling spaces. We argue that the Fisher's zeros are located at the boundary of the complex basin of attraction of infra-red fixed points.

This article presents a hybrid metal‐dielectric metasurface in transmission mode for mid‐infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. Composed of germanium on aluminium cylinders atop a calcium fluoride substrate, the metasurface achieves 80% transmission efficiency at λ = 2.6 µm with a narrow full‐width‐half‐maximum of 0.4 µm.

Acute brain injuries are characterized by extensive tissue damage, resulting in debilitating deficits in patients. Despite considerable progress, cell‐based approaches have yet to identify an ideal candidate. This long‐term study explores the use of an untested cell source – human enteric glia – and a non‐invasive administration route – intranasal ...

Infra-Red Moisture Measurement on the Paper Machine
The basic criteria for development of a suitable per cent moisture gauge for paper are discussed and the paper industry requirements analysed. The theory of operation for the infra-red gauge is explained and the various components of the system described

A parton picture of de Sitter space during slow-roll inflation
It is well-known that expectation values in de Sitter space are afflicted by infra-red divergences. Long ago, Starobinsky proposed that infra-red effects in de Sitter space could be accommodated by evolving the long-wavelength part of the field according

A Mussel‐Inspired Bioadhesive Patch to Selectively Kill Glioblastoma Cells
An innovative mussel‐inspired bioadhesive patch has been developed for post‐surgical glioblastoma treatment. The patch, which adheres strongly in biological environments, releases a localized treatment. This treatment, acting via reactive oxygen species, shows specific toxicity to glioblastoma cells.

Estimation of forest stand volume using textural indices of aerial images [PDF]
Because of several radiometric errors, precise estimation of forest stand volume based on spectral indices is not achievable. In contrast to spectral indices, textural indices are more consistent dealing with these errors. In this research, estimation of
