Infrapatellar (Hoffa’s) Fat Pad Conditions
2021The infrapatellar fat pad (IPFP), located in the anterior compartment of the knee, is frequently a source of pain for athletes in sports involving terminal extension of the knee. Most often, impingement of the IPFP between the femur and the tibia is the source of pain; however, other pathology is possible.

Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, 2010AbstractThree different tumour‐like lesions within the infrapatellar fat pad, an osteochondroma, a localised pigmented villonodular synovitis and a synovial cyst are reported. The osteochondroma and the pigmented villonodular synovitis were treated by marginal excision, and the synovial cyst was resected using arthroscopy.

Infrapatellar Fat Pad Disruption
Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, 2005After knee trauma, radiographs showing patella alta supercede other signs that suggest patellar tendon rupture. However, without patella alta the diagnosis may be missed. A standard lateral radiograph with the knee flexed showed the infrapatellar fat pad as a dark band with a smooth contour.

Hoffa's disease: Arthroscopic resection of the infrapatellar fat pad
Arthroscopy, 1994Summary In 11 patients the diagnosis of Hoffa's syndrome with chronic impingement of the fat pad was established by clinical signs and arthroscopic findings. Arthroscopic resection of the fat pad was performed. The patients were assessed using the Cincinnati rating system.

Fibroma of tendon sheath of the infrapatellar fat pad in the knee
Clinical Imaging, 2009A 69-year-old patient with unexplained pain of the right knee reported no prior trauma. A soft tissue tumor was identified using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The tumor showed low signal intensity on T1-weighted images, high signal intensity on T2, and peripheral enhancement on gadolinium-enhanced MRI.
