Fusion of visible and infrared images using GE-WA model and VGG-19 network
For the low computational efficiency, the existence of false targets, blurred targets, and halo occluded targets of existing image fusion models, a novel fusion method of visible and infrared images using GE-WA model and VGG-19 network is proposed. First,

Zein‐Based Adhesives: Sustainable Extraction and Application in Bioadhesive Technologies
Zein is extracted from corn gluten meal using a simple and scalable process with high yield (~90%). The resulting protein is applied in bioadhesives modified with Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions, exhibiting substrate‐dependent adhesion. The findings demonstrate competitive bonding performance and highlight the role of ionic interactions in tuning adhesion ...

Performance Analysis of Abradable Coating Systems for Aircraft Gas Turbines
Three CoNiCrAlY/YSZ/MgAl2O4 abradable liner configurations on a nickel‐superalloy are evaluated by thermal‐gradient cycling and incursion tests. Laser ablation of the bondcoat and/or Y2O3‐stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) intermediate layer increases mechanical interlocking and bonding for thick topcoats.

Causality-Driven Infrared and Visible Image Fusion
Image fusion aims to combine complementary information from multiple source images to generate more comprehensive scene representations. Existing methods primarily rely on the stacking and design of network architectures to enhance the fusion performance, often ignoring the impact of dataset scene bias on model training.

An Adaptive Two-Scale Image Fusion of Visible and Infrared Images [PDF]
In this paper, we proposed an adaptive two-scale image fusion method using latent low-rank representation (LatLRR). First, both IR and VI images are decomposed into a two-scale representation using LatLRR to generate low-rank parts (the global structure) and saliency parts (the local structure). The algorithm denoises at the same time. Then, the guided
