Infrared Image Super Resolution by Combining Compressive Sensing and Deep Learning
Super resolution methods alleviate the high cost and high difficulty in applying high resolution infrared image sensors. In this paper we present a novel single image super resolution method for infrared images by combining compressive sensing theory and

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

Optimizing photoexcitation conditions for time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering experiments
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering (TR‐XSS) is a powerful technique to visualize how proteins change their structure in real time after light activation. Selecting the right laser photoexcitation conditions—fluence, excitation geometry, and sample refresh rate—is critical to maximize the experimental signal while avoiding unwanted side effects ...

Key Points’ Location in Infrared Images of the Human Body Based on Mscf-ResNet
The human body generates infrared radiation through the thermal movement of molecules. Based on this phenomenon, infrared images of the human body are often used for monitoring and tracking.

Pedestrian detection in infrared images [PDF]
This paper describes an approach for pedestrian detection in infrared images. The developed system has been implemented on an experimental vehicle equipped with an infrared camera and preliminarily tested in different situations. It is based on the localization of warm symmetrical objects with specific size and aspect ratio; since also road ...

TGF‐β1 stimulation downregulates lysosomal channel TRPML1 in pulmonary fibroblasts. The TRPML1 agonist ML‐SA5 suppressed fibroblast‐to‐myofibroblast activation and collagen production. Mechanistically, ML‐SA5 inhibited mTOR phosphorylation, restored autophagic flux, and its effects were enhanced by rapamycin (mTOR inhibitor) and reversed by MHY1485 ...

The effect of the impact of comet Shoemaker Levy‐9 on Jupiter's aurorae [PDF]
We present infrared spectra and images of the jovian aurorae taken at wavelengths sensitive to the H-3(+) molecular ion during the period around the impact of Comet Shoemaker Levy-9.

Natural Frequencies of Levodopa‐Induced Dyskinesia in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objectives Abnormal involuntary movements, known as dyskinesias, are common complications of levodopa treatment in patients with Parkinson's disease and can significantly impair quality of life. The underlying pathophysiology remains unclear, and current therapeutic options are limited.
