Near-Infrared Photometry of SC Stars
Publications of the Astronomical Society of Japan, 1986Abstract Photometric data have been obtained for 9 SC stars and 2 S-type stars in the J, H, K, 3-μm, and L bands. The observed SC stars are found to exhibit a 3-um absorption feature similar to that of carbon stars. The depth of the 3-μm absorption is estimated for each star on the basis of photometric data.

Cometary dust studied with infrared photometry
Naturwissenschaften, 1983Our knowledge of the physical properties of cometary dust grains derives primarily from measurements of their thermal emission and optical scattering. The infrared data for bright, nonperiodic comets have recently been augmented by observations of fainter periodic comets beyond 1 AU.

Simultaneous Multi-Color Far-Infrared Photometry
1977An astronomical experiment is described which allows simultaneous viewing of the same field of view in well defined bands at 30, 50 and l00μm with Δλ/λ ∿ 1/2. Color temperatures as well as surface brightnesses are measured directly; the system has obvious advantages for airborne and balloon platforms where good absolute pointing accuracy and ...
