Our understanding of the early Universe has long been limited by biased galaxy samples selected through various color criteria. With deep JWST infrared imaging, mass-complete galaxy samples can now be studied up to z ∼ 8 for the first time.

Optical and Infrared Photometry of the nearby SN 2017cbv [PDF]
Abstract On 2017 March 11, the DLT40 Transient Discovery Survey discovered SN 2017cbv in NGC 5643, a Type 2 Seyfert Galaxy in the Lupus Constellation. SN 2017cbv went on to become a bright Type Ia supernova, with a V max of 11.51 ± 0.05 mag.

This paper presents a breakthrough pre‐breakdown electrochemical method for synthesizing polyNiMeOSalen suspensions, achieving an 83% yield and nanoscale dispersion ($1500/kg) and environmental impact (1.42 kg CO2eq/kg). We report a novel pre‐breakdown electrochemical synthesis method for producing polyNiMeOSalen suspensions with exceptional ...

Abstract Several national space agencies and commercial entities are currently targeting the Moon's south polar region for human and robotic exploration. Of particular interest are materials excavated and ejected from the Moon's largest and oldest impact structure, the South Pole‐Aitken Basin (SPA), as these ancient materials are a window into the ...

Period–Luminosity–Metallicity–Color Relations of Late-type Contact Binaries in the Big Data Era
Binary stars ubiquitous throughout the Universe are important. Contact binaries (CBs) possessing period–luminosity (PL) relations could be adopted as distance tracers. The PL relations of CBs are influenced by metallicity abundance and color index, which

Abstract Background and Purpose Pharmacological inhibition of TRPC4 and/or TRPC5 channels reduces Pavlovian aversion memory in stressed mice and reduces amygdala reactivity to aversion in humans with depression. The aims of this mouse study were to improve understanding of these anxiolytic processes, determine whether there are corrective effects on ...

Respiratory‐Limbic Coupling via a Thalamic Circuit Alleviates Anxiety
This study delineates a conserved preBötCGlu→PVT→CeA circuit that gates anxiety and respiration. Activation of this circuit is anxiolytic and respiratory‐stabilizing, while its inhibition has the opposite effect. Mechanistically, PVT exerts its anxiolytic action via a disinhibitory microcircuit: its inputs preferentially target CeL GABAergic neurons ...
