A Comprehensive Study of Quantum Dots: Ranging From Synthesis to Applications in Electrochemical Biosensors in the Detection of Biomolecules, Gastrointestinal Diseases, and Electrophysiology

open access: yesNano Select, EarlyView.
Quantum dots (QDs) typically refer to extremely small semiconductor particles, often no larger than 10 nm. The development of efficient biosensors for the sensitive and selective detection of biomolecules is essential for fundamental research in analytical chemistry, biomedicine, clinical diagnosis, and electrophysiology.

Synthesis and Characterization of MnO2 nanoparticles mediated by Raphia hookeri seed

open access: yesJournal of Nigerian Society of Physical Sciences
In this study, managanese dioxide nanoparticles (MnO2-NP) was synthesized. Raphia hookeri seed was used as a bioreductant for the synthesis of MnO2-NPs. The biosynthesized MnO2-NPs was investigated for their reaction, structure and morphology.

High‐Performance Oxidation and Nanomolar Detection of Phenylhydrazine Using a 6‐Hydroxyflavone‐Based Molecular Electrocatalyst Functionalized Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube in Batch Injection Analysis

open access: yesChemistryOpen, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel, rapid method for in situ functionalization of carbon electrodes using redox‐active form of the 6‐hydroxyflavone. The resulting multiwalled carbon nanotubes with redox‐active HFLA (MWCNT@HFLA‐Redox) electrode enables sensitive, selective detection of toxic phenylhydrazine, with excellent performance (limit of detection: 7 nM)

Hydrophobic Radiative Cooling using Zein‐Functionalized Polyvinyl Alcohol Nanofibers with Dielectric Nanoparticles

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A high‐performance radiative cooling material is fabricated from hydrophilic polyvinyl alcohol using a green, scalable method. The resulting nanofiber membrane exhibits robust hydrophobicity alongside high solar reflectance (91.7%) and thermal emissivity (96.9%). This combination enables a 6.9 °C sub‐ambient temperature drop, making it ideal for energy‐
