Self‐Assembled Luminescent Au(I)–Adamantylamine Coordination Polymer Needles With Thermoresponsive Optical Properties

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A self‐assembled hydrophobic and red phosphorescent Au(I) coordination polymer (CP) was synthesized under mild conditions. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction (XRD) demonstrated linear Au(I) chains stabilized by aurophilic and hydrogen bonding interactions.

Detection of Particulate Matter With Lock‐In Thermography

open access: yesCleanMat, EarlyView.
Accurate quantification of black carbon is essential due to its significant impact on climate, air quality, and human health. Lock‐in thermography (LIT), as implemented by NanoLockin's instrument Calorsito, offers a sensitive, scalable, and reproducible approach for detecting black carbon on filter substrates.

The Diagnostic Value of Thermography in Oncology: Current Evidence and Future Perspectives

open access: yesQuality in Sport
Introduction and Purpose: Thermography – imaging heat patterns via infrared (IR) cameras – offers a noninvasive, radiation-free approach to detect the increased regional skin temperature associated with tumors’ hypermetabolism and angiogenesis [3]. This

Surface hydration‐induced damage in tight oil‐bearing sandy conglomerate reservoirs

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
A series of techniques such as X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive spectroscopy, conductivity tests, and infrared thermal imaging were used. The key findings are the identification of a two‐stage surface hydration process and the elucidation of the effects of various minerals and elements on the hydration process ...
