Raman and Infrared Thermometry for Microsystems
This paper reports and compares Raman and infrared thermometry measurements along the legs and on the shuttle of a SOI (silicon on insulator) bent-beam thermal microactuator. Raman thermometry offers micron spatial resolution and measurement uncertainties of ±10 K.

Closing the Loop: High-Precision 3D Photofabrication in Living Tissues. [PDF]
Writing 3D microstructures inside living tissue demands more than laser access; It demands information. Hierarchical sensing captures thermal and mechanical states across pulse‐train, voxel, and structure timescales, feeding a controller that steers the laser in real time.

Exploratory Measurements of Singly Substituted and Clumped Isotopologues in Iodate Using Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Rationale Clumped isotope geochemistry can reveal the temperatures and chemical pathways at which molecules form, but it remains unexplored for most inorganic systems. Iodate (IO3−) is central to ocean and atmospheric iodine cycling and to tracking radioactive iodine from nuclear activity.

Infrared tympanic thermometry [PDF]
The accuracy of this method is attributed to the tympanic membrane's close anato~nic proximity to the hypothalamic thermore-gulatory centre and common blood supply from the carotid artery. Since temperature is displayed within one second, the ear thermometer (which is marketed in the shape of an otoscope) offers a les stressful and faster method of ...
