Sustainable Shea Stearic Acid–Based Phase Change Materials for Efficient Thermal Energy Storage
International Journal of Energy Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.In this study, stearic acid (SA), a bio‐based phase change material (PCM) synthesized from shea butter, a renewable vegetable fat extracted from the kernels of Vitellaria paradoxa, was successfully incorporated with expanded graphite (EG) to produce a shape‐stabilized SA/EG (80:20) composite PCM.
