The Raman laser spectrometer ExoMars simulator (RLS Sim): A heavy‐duty Raman tool for ground testing on ExoMars

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, Volume 53, Issue 3, Page 382-395, March 2022., 2022
In this work, we introduce the current configuration of the RLS ExoMars Simulator (RLS Sim). A laboratory model of the RLS instrument has incorporated new hardware elements with the objective of approaching its performance to that of the actual RLS instrument.

Goat Milk Exosomes As Natural Nanoparticles for Detecting Inflammatory Processes By Optical Imaging

open access: yesSmall, Volume 18, Issue 6, February 10, 2022., 2022
Exosomes extracted from goat milk is presented for the first time as natural liposome‐like nanoparticles for the detection of inflammatory processes by optical imaging. The ability of the novel nanoplatforms to detect inflammatory cells is initially evaluated in vitro and subsequently in vivo in a mouse model of peritonitis by optical techniques ...

Tolerance to geometrical inaccuracies in CBCT systems: A comprehensive study

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 48, Issue 10, Page 6007-6019, October 2021., 2021
Abstract Purpose The last decades have seen the consolidation of the cone‐beam CT (CBCT) technology, which is nowadays widely used for different applications such as micro‐CT for small animals, mammography, dentistry, or surgical procedures. Some CBCT systems may suffer mechanical strains due to the heavy load of the x‐ray tube.

Cosmic Ray Counting Variability From Water‐Cherenkov Detectors as a Proxy of Stratospheric Conditions in Antarctica

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 12, Issue 11, November 2025.
Abstract This work examines atmospheric effects on cosmic ray counts observed by a Water‐Cherenkov detector at the Argentine Antarctic Marambio Station. We analyze the influence of ground‐level barometric pressure and geopotential height at various pressure levels on daily particle rates, finding the strongest association at 100 hPa, linked to ...

Nighttime and Early Morning Atmospheric Waves and Transient Turbulence at Jezero Crater, Mars, Observed by the Perseverance Rover

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Planets, Volume 130, Issue 7, July 2025.
Abstract We study atmospheric oscillations in Jezero crater, Mars, that occur at night and dawn over stable conditions of the planetary boundary layer. These atmospheric oscillations are sporadic and can have large amplitudes, resulting in important variations in the dynamic conditions of the atmosphere.
