Wronskian-type formula for inhomogeneous TQ-equations [PDF]

open access: yesTheoretical and Mathematical Physics, 2020
The transfer-matrix eigenvalues of the isotropic open Heisenberg quantum spin-1/2 chain with non-diagonal boundary magnetic fields are known to satisfy a TQ-equation with an inhomogeneous term.

Monodromy of an Inhomogeneous Picard-Fuchs Equation [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2012
The global behaviour of the normal function associated with van Geemen's family of lines on the mirror quintic is studied. Based on the associated inhomogeneous Picard-Fuchs equation, the series expansions around large complex structure, conifold, and ...

Analysis of the inhomogeneous Willmore equation

open access: yesAnnales de l'Institut Henri Poincaré C, Analyse non linéaire, 2023
We study a class of fourth-order geometric problems modeling Willmore surfaces, conformally constrained Willmore surfaces, isoperimetrically constrained Willmore surfaces, and bi-harmonic surfaces in the sense of Chen, among others. We prove several local energy estimates and derive a global gap lemma.

Successive Approximation for the Inhomogeneous Burgers Equation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Siberian Federal University. Mathematics & Physics, 2018
Summary: The inhomogeneous Burgers equation is a simple form of the Navier-Stokes equations. From the analytical point of view, the inhomogeneous form is poorly studied, the complete analytical solution depending closely on the form of the nonhomogeneous term.

Semiclassical equations for weakly inhomogeneous cosmologies [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1994
The in-in effective action formalism is used to derive the semiclassical correction to Einstein's equations due to a massless scalar quantum field conformally coupled to small gravitational perturbations in spatially flat cosmological models.

The Fourier analysis in inhomogeneous media

open access: yesSt. Petersburg Polytechnical University Journal: Physics and Mathematics, 2023
In the paper, the definition and basic properties of the Fourier transform (FT) are discussed. It has been shown with specific examples that integral solutions of the model inhomogeneous equation, the nonstationary Cauchy problem on an inhomogeneous ...

A Chebychev propagator for inhomogeneous Schrödinger equations [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Chemical Physics, 2009
A propagation scheme for time-dependent inhomogeneous Schrödinger equations is presented. Such equations occur in time dependent optimal control theory and in reactive scattering. A formal solution based on a polynomial expansion of the inhomogeneous term is derived. It is subjected to an approximation in terms of Chebychev polynomials.

Monodromy of inhomogeneous Picard-Fuchs equations [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Number Theory and Physics, 2014
We study low-degree curves on one-parameter Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces, and their contribution to the space-time superpotential in a superstring compactification with D-branes. We identify all lines that are invariant under at least one permutation of the homogeneous variables, and calculate the inhomogeneous Picard-Fuchs equation.

Analytical solutions of linear inhomogeneous fractional differential equation with continuous variable coefficients

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
This paper proposes a series-representations for the solution of initial value problems of linear inhomogeneous fractional differential equation with continuous variable coefficients.

Bending of light and inhomogeneous Picard–Fuchs equation [PDF]

open access: yesClassical and Quantum Gravity, 2021
Abstract The bending of light rays by gravitational sources is one of the first evidence of general relativity. When the gravitational source is a stationary massive object such as a black hole, the bending angle has an integral representation, from which various series expansions up to a finite order in terms of the parameters of ...
