Inhomogeneity effects in Cosmology
This article looks at how inhomogeneous spacetime models may be significant for cosmology. First it looks at how the averaging process may affect large scale dynamics, with backreaction effects leading to effective contributions to the averaged energy ...

Quasi-Isotropization of the Inhomogeneous Mixmaster Universe Induced by an Inflationary Process [PDF]
We derive a ``generic'' inhomogeneous ``bridge'' solution for a cosmological model in the presence of a real self-interacting scalar field. This solution connects a Kasner-like regime to an inflationary stage of evolution and therefore provides a ...

Observational Foundations of Inhomogeneous Universe [PDF]
Using new observational data at optical (Jagiellonian Field) and radio (GB region) frequencies, the distributions of galaxies and radio sources are analysed. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant non-random surface distribution of galaxies irrespective of the scale of the field investigated.

Compact hyperbolic universe and singularities [PDF]
Recently many people have discussed the possibility that the universe is hyperbolic and was in an inflationary phase in the early stage. Under these assumptions, it is shown that the universe cannot have compact hyperbolic time-slices.

Lemaitre-Tolman-Bondi model and accelerating expansion
I discuss the spherically symmetric but inhomogeneous Lemaitre-Tolman- Bondi (LTB) metric, which provides an exact toy model for an inhomogeneous universe.

Electrodynamics in an LTB scenario [PDF]
In this article we analyze the electrodynamics in curved space-time in LTB metric. We calculate the most general scale factor in this inhomogeneous Universe.

Type V singularities with inhomogeneous equations of state
Interest in cosmological singularities has remarkably grown in recent times, particularly on future singularities with the discovery of late-time acceleration of the universe and dark energy.

The dark energy universe equation of state (EOS) with inhomogeneous,Hubble parameter dependent term is considered. The motivation to introduce such a term comes from time-dependent viscosity considerations and modifications of general relativity.

Weyl Curvature Hypothesis in Light of Quantum Backreaction at Cosmological Singularities or Bounces
The Weyl curvature constitutes the radiative sector of the Riemann curvature tensor and gives a measure of the anisotropy and inhomogeneities of spacetime.
