A suicide prevention initiative at a jumping site: A mixed-methods evaluation
Gap Park in Sydney, Australia has historically been recognised as a suicide jumping site. In 2010-2011 the Gap Park Masterplan initiative implemented a series of suicide prevention measures. This study applied a mixed-methods design to evaluate the effectiveness of the Masterplan in reducing suicides.Data from the Australian National Coronial ...

An early Holocene sea‐level jump and delta initiation [PDF]
Early Holocene sea‐level change controlled the evolution of clastic coastal depositional systems. Radiocarbon‐dated borehole cores obtained from three incised‐valley‐fill systems in Asia (Changjiang, Song Hong, and Kiso River) record very similar depositional histories, especially between about 9000 and 8500 cal BP.

Asymptotic Estimates of the Solution of a Restoration Problem with an Initial Jump [PDF]
The asymptotic behavior of the solution of the singularly perturbed boundary value problemLεy=htλ,Liy+σiλ=ai,i=1,n+1̅is examined. The derivations prove that a unique pair(ỹt,λ̃ε,ε,λ̃ε)exists, in which componentsy(t,λ̃ε,ε)andλ̃(ε)satisfy the equationLεy=h(t)λand boundary value conditionsLiy+σiλ=ai,i=1,n+1̅. The issues of limit transfer of the perturbed

The effects of initial conditions and takeoff technique on running jumps for height and distance [PDF]
This study used a subject-specific model with eight segments driven by joint torques for forward dynamics simulation to investigate the effects of initial conditions and takeoff technique on the performance of running jumps for height and distance.
