Initial Characterization of the Viridisins’ Biological Properties
Viridisin A1 and A2 were previously heterologously expressed, purified, and characterized as ribosomally produced and post-translationally modified lanthipeptides. Such lanthipeptide operons are surprisingly common in Gram-negative bacteria, although their expression seems to be predominantly cryptic under laboratory conditions.

ON THE INITIAL EXTENSIONAL PROPERTIES OF FABRICS
The initial resistance of fabric to extension in warp or weft direction is theoretically studied by applying the same theory of extension used for crimped yarn axis, the form of which has been explained in the previous papers by the authors. Load (P) at extension (Δ/l1) is explained by the following equation.where, P: Load induced by extension (Δ/l1)(Δ/

ABSTRACT Background An internal tandem duplication in the gene encoding Fms‐like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3‐ITD) is associated with high relapse risk and poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and plays a crucial role in treatment decisions. Measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis of FLT3‐ITD during and after treatment has shown prognostic ...

Developing Physical Axiomatics: Results and Outcomes [PDF]
The ideology and scheme of physical axiomatics are proposed, the initial postulates and axioms are formulated. The essential principles of axiomatics are based on scientific statements and concepts that reflect the fundamental properties of the physical ...

Generalized Moment Method for Smoluchowski Coagulation Equation and Mass Conservation Property
In this paper, we develop a generalized moment method with a continuous weight function for the Smoluchowski coagulation equation in its continuous form to study the mass conservation property of this equation.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

A theory of property needs to give an account of the whole life-cycle of a property right: how it is initiated, transferred, and terminated. Economics has focused on the transfers in the market and has almost completely neglected the question of the ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...
