Optimal Control Drives Ultrafast and Energy‐Efficient Magnetization Switching in Van der Waals Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The accelerating expansion of data‐centric technologies is sharply increasing the energy burden of information storage, placing unprecedented pressure on the efficiency of magnetic switching. Conventional field‐driven reversal, once the foundation of magnetic memory, has become impractical in modern architectures due to its high energy cost ...

Effect of the Intake Valve Opening Timings and Fuel Injection Pressures on the Exhaust Emission Characteristics of a Gasoline Engine at Part Load Condition [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Society of Marine Engineering, 2011
This work has investigated the exhaust emissions such as Total Hydrocarbon (THC), Nitrogen Oxides(NOx), and Particulate Matter (PM) characteristics emitted from the tail-pipe of a continuously variable valve timing (CVVT) gasoline-fueled engine with different intake valve opening timings and injection pressures at the part load condition. Valve overlap

Why Is the Mechanism Underlying the Chiral‐Induced Selectivity Effect Still Challenging?

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS) effect is observed in many experimental configurations and for different materials. However, there are theoretical challenges in attempting to explain those results. A qualitative framework for explaining all the results is presented.

ChicGrasp: Imitation‐Learning‐Based Customized Dual‐Jaw Gripper Control for Manipulation of Delicate, Irregular Bio‐Products

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...
