How are storm time injections different from nonstorm time injections?

Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics, 2004
Abstract One of the key elements of storms and substorms is the injection of energetic particles into the region of near geosynchronous orbit, that is, the sudden flux enhancement in the energy range of tens to hundreds of keV. This paper reports the observational results on how such injection features during storm times are different from those of ...

An injection/circulation-timing switch for angiography

Albrecht von Graefes Archiv fr Klinische und Experimentelle Ophthalmologie, 1978
An injection/circulation-timing switch was developed to simply and precisely initiate the timing unit of the fundus camera for angiographic documentation. After starting the timer, the switch, mounted on the syringe used for injection of the tracer material, subsequently provides documentation of the total elapsed time of injection.

Intracordal Teflon injection: a question of timing

The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, 1991
AbstractIntraeordal Teflon injection is commonly performed for recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy. It is generally agreed that injection should not be performed for a period of six months from the onset of an ‘idiopathic’ paralysis. A case is presented in which recovery occurred late, after intraeordal injection, with unfortunate results.

Time-dependent spin injection

Solid-State Electronics, 2021
Abstract Spin injection from ferromagnet into nonmagnetic semiconductor is theoretically investigated for the case when the electric current in ferromagnet/semiconductor structure depends on time. The study of switching on/off dc current showed that the time dependence of the magnetization at any point inside semiconductor does not obey the ...
