Developing evidence‐based, cost‐effective P4 cancer medicine for driving innovation in prevention, therapeutics, patient care and reducing healthcare inequalities

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

Some methods for constructing some classes of graceful uniform trees

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Combinatorics, 2018
A tree T(V, E) is graceful if there exists an injective function f from the vertex set V(T) into the set {0, 1, 2, ..., ∣V∣ − 1} which induces a bijective function fʹ from the edge set E(T) onto the set {1, 2, ..., ∣E∣}, with fʹ(uv) = ∣f(u) − f(v)∣ for ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Solutions of a nonlinear Dirichlet problem in which the nonlinear part is bounded from above and below by polynomials

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 1997
In this paper we study the existence and multiplicity solutions of nonlinear elliptic problem of the form   Here Ω is a smooth and bounded domain in RN , N ≥ 2, λ ∈ R and f : R → R is a continuous, even function satisfying the following condition

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

The Integer-antimagic Spectra of a Weak Join of Hamiltonian Graphs

open access: yesTheory and Applications of Graphs
A simple graph $G$ with vertex set $V(G)$ and edge set $E(G)$ is \emph{$\mathbb{Z}_{k}$-antimagic} if there exists a function $f: E(G) \to \mathbb{Z}_{k} \backslash \{0\}$ such that the induced function $f^+(v)=\sum_{uv\in E(G)} f(uv)$ is injective. The \

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
