Embedded Ink Writing (EIW) of Polysiloxane Inks
ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2020Polysiloxane is a desirable material for the fabrication of devices in microfluidics, lab-on-a-chip, and microelectromechanical systems, but direct patterning of microstructures using liquid polysiloxane resins would require adequate rheological and chemical properties of the resins.

Ink sick: Tattoo ink hypersensitivity vasculitis
The American Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2011This case describes a rare cause of vasculitis due to a hypersensitivity reaction to tattoo ink in a young man. This 21-year-old male sailor with no medical problems received a new tattoo on his right calf 2 weeks before presentation. He complained of a painful, pruritic rash on his legs for 1 week, most pronounced around the site of the tattoo.

Characterization of inks and ink application for ink-jet printing: model and simulation
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2003Ink-jet printing quality is determined primarily by, among other factors, the printing engine and its inks. The printing engine controls the process of ink application and the scheme of ink mixing for th e generation of secondary and tertiary colors. The inks selectively absorb different wavelengths from the illumination and result in the visible color

Direct ink writing of geopolymeric inks
Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 2017The development of geopolymeric inks with optimized rheological properties for DIW is presented; several inks with different water content and additives were compared to determine which parameters enable extrusion as well as shape retention. It is a challenging task, because the inks are subjected to ongoing poly-condensation reactions which ...
