Nanoporous Microelectrodes for Neural Electrophysiology Recordings in Organotypic Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The highly porous microelectrodes have been designed and printed on culture membranes, allowing to record electrophysiological neural activity for rodent brain slices. To keep the biocompatible nanoporous structure, the microelectrodes and insulative layer are fabricated on the bottom of culture membranes with only small connector pads added on the top.

Fully Inkjet‐Printed Organic Electrochemical Transistors: A Path Toward All‐Organic Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Fully printed organic electrochemical transistors eliminate the metal electrodes used in conventional printed organic electronics. This work demonstrates the state of the art in three applications using PBFDO and PEDOT:PSS materials: a single‐material strain sensor for real‐time detection of finger flexion, an ion sensor for monitoring aqueous NaCl ...

Inkjet-printed optical interference filters

open access: yesNature Communications
AbstractOptical interference filters (OIFs) are vital components for a wide range of optical and photonic systems. They are pivotal in controlling spectral transmission and reflection upon demand. OIFs rely on optical interference of the incident wave at multilayers, which are fabricated with nanometer precision.
