Efficient Inkjet Printing of Graphene
Advanced Materials, 2013An efficient and mature inkjet printing technology is introduced for mass production of coffee-ring-free patterns of high-quality graphene at high resolution (unmarked scale bars are 100 μm). Typically, several passes of printing and a simple baking allow fabricating a variety of good-performance electronic devices, including transparent conductors ...

Inkjet Printing for Biomedical Applications
2018Inkjet printing can deposit politer volumes of a specified ink at precise locations on a substrate. Here we describe methods of using inkjet printing for cell patterning in the field of biomedical applications, either directly printing cells in cell media, or indirectly through printing a wax scaffold that guides cell orientation/attachment onto a ...

Inkjet Printing Methodologies for Drug Screening
Analytical Chemistry, 2010We show for the first time a contactless, low-cost, and rapid drug screening methodology by employing inkjet printing for molecular dispensing in a microarray format. Picoliter drops containing a model substrate (d-glucose)/inhibitor (d-glucal) couple were accurately dispensed on a single layer consisting of the enzymatic target (glucose oxidase ...

J-FOR: Journal of Science & Technology for Forest Products and Processes, 2009
The aim of this work is to clarify the controlling role of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) as a binder in the formation of coating and pore structure and how it affects the high-speed inkjet image quality formation. The results show that the pigment type and the binder amount have a large interactive effect on pore structure formation.

Inkjet-printed Electronics Technology
2022Printing technologies, which do not require a stable, physical, fixed pattern/image carrier and can, in principle, generate a different printed pattern/image print per print are explained with examples. This type of process is referred to as non-impact printing.
