Detailed state of the art review for the different on-line/in-line oil analysis techniques in context of wind turbine gearboxes [PDF]
The main driver behind developing advanced condition monitoring (CM) systems for the wind energy industry is the delivery of improved asset management regarding the operation and maintenance of the gearbox and other wind turbine components and systems ...

Precise In‐line volumetric dosing despite varying material composition. ABSTRACT Precise volumetric dosing of polymer melts is essential for dimensional stability and mass consistency in injection‐molded samples, particularly when melt compressibility influences the effective volume delivered to the cavity. Conventional approaches rely on reference pvT

NoSEBrEaK - Attacking Honeynets
It is usually assumed that Honeynets are hard to detect and that attempts to detect or disable them can be unconditionally monitored. We scrutinize this assumption and demonstrate a method how a host in a honeynet can be completely controlled by an ...

Schematic representation of the continuous lab‐scale process. ABSTRACT Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are nowadays fundamental in treating a wide range of severe diseases, including cancer, infections, or autoimmune disorders. Due to their high specificity, potent activity, and fewer side effects compared to small molecular drugs, the market for mAbs is ...

Non-destructive weld inspection during the welding process - possibilities and limitations of an inline monitoring approach [PDF]
Welded joints are usually inspected by ultrasonic non-destructive testing (UT) after completion of the weld. However, such a conventional offline NDT approach is inefficient in case of complex welding techniques, large structural components or expensive materials.

Gas sensing based on optical fibre coupled diode laser spectroscopy : a new approach to sensor systems for safety monitoring [PDF]
We describe an entirely passive fibre optic network which senses, amongst other species, CH¬4¬ and CO¬¬2 , with sensitivity and selectivity compatible with safety sensing in the mine environment.

Monitoring of pilot-scale induction processes for dairy powders using inline and offline approaches
The induction of two dairy powders, skim milk powder (SMP; low-protein content), and milk protein isolate (MPI, high-protein content), was studied. The powder induction approaches investigated were (1) eductor alone, (2) eductor with a static mixer, and (3) eductor with high shear inline mixing.
