Amaurosis Fugax: Is it Innocuous?
Annals of Vascular Surgery, 1992A 10 year retrospective study of 103 patients with amaurosis fugax was done. Sixty-two patients with symptoms of amaurosis fugax underwent arteriography, which demonstrated ulcerated carotid plaque in 36 and hemodynamically significant stenoses (greater than 75% diameter reduction) in 26. These 62 patients underwent carotid endarterectomy. The other 41

Innocuous presentation of ameloblastic carcinoma
BMJ Case Reports, 2021Ameloblastic carcinoma is a rare malignant odontogenic neoplasm that exhibits diverse clinical and radiological presentations. In fact there are several differential diagnoses during histopathological evaluation too. Lack of adequate reports could not establish the predominant demographic, clinical and radiological presentations.

In classical first-order predicate logic CL1 (without equality) only tautologies and antitautologies satisfy nontautological schemas. I.e., if F[p, Q] is a nontautological formula (fl) in the predicate letters shown, with p prepositional, then ⊬ F[K, Q] for any sentence K not containing some Q ∈ Q, unless ⊢ K or ⊢ ¬K. This is an easy consequence of the

McCall's argument has two stages. In the first (which I shall call ‘Stage One’), the hypothesis that someone has both perfect memory and perfect foreknowledge is shown to generate an infinite regress, and this is taken to establish the absurdity of that hypothesis; in the second (‘Stage Two’), this absurdity is made the basis of a proof that time is ...

Cementomas-- Aggressive or Innocuous Neoplasms?
Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1977No class of tumor is so inadequately discussed in the otolaryngology literature as the "cementomas". Until recent years, four distinctly different benign fibro-osseouslesions containing cementum were clumped together under the heading of cementoma.

Transesophageal echocardiography: not an innocuous procedure
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2001We report 3 patients who sustained intrathoracic esophageal perforations due to transesophageal echocardiography encountered during the past 2 years. Lack of suspicion of this complication led to delay in diagnosis. Surgical management led to survival of all 3 patients.

Alan Sidelle has offered an argument to show that internalism about justification implies us to have a certain sort of infallibility concerning some internal facts. This is true but harmless to internalism.

An Innocuous Visual Cryptography Scheme
Eighth International Workshop on Image Analysis for Multimedia Interactive Services (WIAMIS '07), 2007An innocuous visual secret sharing scheme over natural images is presented in this paper. Secret sharing scheme allows a group of participants to share a secret (i.e., an image) among them. In case of(k, n) visual cryptography any group of k qualified participants among n (where k les n) can reconstruct the secret.

Ipecac syrup and ipecac fluidextract are commonly used for a variety of reasons in pediatric practice. This brief history of the difficulties following the ingestion of ipecac fluidextract is presented as a reminder of the differences between ipecac fluidextract and ipecac syrup, and the potential toxicity of each.

Innocuous Accessory Thyroid Nodules
Archives of Surgery, 1965THIS STUDY was prompted by the emphasis which has been placed on so-called lateral aberrant thyroid tumors during the last 30 years or so and the relatively little attention that has been called to the innocuous nodules of thyroid tissue in the immediate vicinity of the thyroid gland itself.
