Bianchi I Spacetimes in f(Q)‐Gravity

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 74, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The Kasner spacetimes are exact solutions that are self‐similar and of significant interest because they can describe the dynamic evolution of kinematic variables near the singularity of the Mixmaster universe. The chaotic behavior of the Mixmaster universe is related to the Kasner relations.

External sources of technological innovation in Chilean manufacturating industry.

Mapping scientific production in dual higher education and dual vocational training: A systematic review with PRISMA

open access: yesReview of Education, Volume 14, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract Dual training is a subject of interest due to the current political initiatives in education to promote training programmes that bring the education system closer to both professional employment and the business fabric of a given region. Titanium Detected in Liver, Kidney, Spleen, and Intestine Is Not Related to Dose, Time, or Route of Exposure to Titanium Dioxide: A Systematic Review

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, Volume 41, Issue 8, Page 537-548, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Titanium dioxide (TiO2), used as a food additive (labeled E171 in Europe), was withdrawn from the European market in 2022. The E171 toxicity mechanism involves its uptake, oxidative stress, DNA damage, and inflammation. It has been hypothesized that the TiO2 accumulation nanoparticles (NPs) or E171 triggers tissue damage, and some studies have

Classification of Precipitable Water Vapor Regimes Revealed by Clustering of GNSS Radio Occultation and ERA5 Data

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 13, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract Precipitable water vapor (PWV) is an essential parameter for the study of weather and climate behavior. This work presents a novel regional classification of PWV regimes based on clustering techniques applied to Global Navigation Satellite System radio occultation‐derived and ERA5 reanalysis data with and without seasonal removal.

Hidden Microbiota Inhabiting in Pollen Reserves of Honey Bee (Apis mellifera) From Amazonas Region Revealed by DNA Metabarcoding

open access: yesEnvironmental Microbiology Reports, Volume 18, Issue 4, August 2026.
DNA metabarcoding of honey bee pollen reserves from Amazonas region reveals that microbial communities are strongly shaped by their ecosystem. Despite high taxonomic turnover across different habitats, these microbiomes maintain stable, essential functions for pollinator health, though they remain highly vulnerable to habitat homogenization.

Schedule‐dependent neuroprotection by pioglitazone in a novel model of α‐synucleinopathy in rats: Integrated behavioural and histological outcomes

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 15, Page 4227-4245, August 2026.
Background and Purpose α‐Synucleinopathies are neurodegenerative disorders characterized by the aggregation and propagation of misfolded α‐synuclein. In Parkinson's disease (PD), the most common α‐synucleinopathy, the progression of motor and nonmotor deficits, and dopaminergic neuron loss, are closely linked to the spreading of misfolded α‐synuclein ...

From community care to corporate category: Platforms' discourse on digital trans‐affirming practices

open access: yesJournal of Linguistic Anthropology, Volume 36, Issue 2, August 2026.
Abstract Trans‐affirming community movements have interfaced with tech platforms in recent decades, leading to innovations in pronoun‐sharing online. As (mostly US‐based) platforms created online “pronouns fields,” they released supportive statements and help pages about the feature. However, with the recent roll‐back of LGBTQ+ support, such support is
