Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping of Deep Grey Matter in MS: Association With Clinical Scores and Brain Volume Measures

At the cross‐sectional level, quantitative susceptibility mapping detects multiple sclerosis‐tissue damage and clinical severity. However, in contrast to regional deep grey matter volumes, quantitative susceptibility mapping does not predict clinical decline in early MS within a median 3‐year follow‐up.

Rituximab as First‐Line Compared to Escalation Immunotherapy Is Associated With Lower Disability Accumulation in Aquaporin‐4‐IgG‐Positive Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: A Multicenter Cohort Study From Germany and the United Kingdom

In this study, we compared clinical outcomes in AQP4‐IgG+ NMOSD patients treated with rituximab as first‐line versus escalation immunotherapy. While the risk of attacks was similar once rituximab was initiated in both groups, patients receiving rituximab as escalation therapy had higher EDSS scores at treatment start and at the end of follow‐up.
