European Journal of Neurology, Volume 32, Issue 6, June 2025.In this study, we compared clinical outcomes in AQP4‐IgG+ NMOSD patients treated with rituximab as first‐line versus escalation immunotherapy. While the risk of attacks was similar once rituximab was initiated in both groups, patients receiving rituximab as escalation therapy had higher EDSS scores at treatment start and at the end of follow‐up.
