Hydraulic In Vitro Characterization of MR‐Conditional Blood Pumps

Cardiac surgery in neonates requires close placement of cardiopulmonary bypass machines due to limited blood volume, complicating MR compatibility. This study introduces three MR‐conditional blood pump prototypes. None interfered with MRI imaging, though RF‐related sensor effects remain untested.

Design, Training, and Field Validation of a YOLOv8‐Based Automated Trap for Remote Detection of Codling Moth, Cydia pomonella

We developed and field‐validated a fully automated trap for Cydia pomonella monitoring, combining a camera with a YOLOv8 object‐detection model for remote insect identification. Abstract This article analyses wealth inequality in the Republic of Venice during 1400–1800. The availability of a large database of homogeneous inequality measurements allows us to produce the most in‐depth study of the factors affecting inequality at the local level available thus far for any preindustrial society.
